We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to support our FP&A and Controlling team. The role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations and planning. You will play a key role in supporting invoice processing, monthly close processes, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial tasks. This role will be based in Berlin, where Omio’s FP&A and Controlling team is located.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- ** Invoice Approval Support**: Review incoming invoices for accuracy and alignment with contracts, purchase orders, and budget allocations; assist with approval workflows in financial systems.
- ** Month-End Close Assistance**: Help the team compile and verify financial data during the month-end closing cycle, including booking accruals and verifying entries.
- ** Flash vs. Actuals Auditing**: Support the reconciliation and review of flash forecasts versus actual financial results; identify and investigate variances post-close.
- ** Reporting Support**: Assist in preparing regular and ad-hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- ** Data Validation and Controls**: Participate in quality checks, ensuring data consistency between source systems and reporting tools.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with Procurement, Accounting, and Budget Owners to resolve discrepancies and align on financial procedures.
- ** Administrative Support**: Help with scheduling meetings, preparing presentation materials, and documenting procedures where needed.
- ** Learning & Development**: Engage with the FP&A team to develop a foundational understanding of corporate finance, planning, and analysis.

**Qualifications** Qualifications & Experience**:

- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- First experience through internships or working student roles in Finance is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, organized, and able to handle sensitive financial data with integrity.
