**About the Job**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive and record delivery of patient samples/study samples daily. Specifically,

unpacking and verifying contents and condition of received samples.
- Perform data entry into Foundation Medicine Microsoft Dynamics (D365).
- Immediately address issues if specimens to not match requisition forms.
- Route samples into the appropriate workflow and ensure downstream staff is alerted to

sample availability.
- Maintain proper documentation of proper specimen handling and ensure accurate labeling of samples.
- Maintain specimen identification, integrity, and chain of custody throughout all

departmental processes.
- Perform Data Verification of samples/orders entered into Foundation Medicine systems.
- Properly ship samples to pathology departments, reference laboratories, and within

Foundation Medicine.
- Identify and inform supervisor of any issues that need to be escalated.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by following local, business unit, and corporate safety policies.
- Participate in biohazard, chemical, safety and other continuing education programs.
- Dispose and label biohazard waste appropriately.
- Work closely with other departments, like Client Services, Clinical Operations/Biopharma and Laboratory Operations departments.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Completed apprenticeship as a Physician Assistant (MFA).
- Working knowledge in a laboratory environment is an advantage
- Attention to detail and a reliable style of work is an absolute requirement.
- Both written and spoken German and English language proficiency.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
