**About us**:
Wunderpen is a young company from Berlin on a mission to transform how businesses communicate with their valued customers, using personalized handwritten letters. We have developed an in-house state-of-art technology to automate the mass production of handwritten mailings.

Our technology combines intelligent electronics, mechanics, & software systems to learn an original handwritten message and reproduce it individually on letterheads, postcards, or other paper-based mediums.

We use several custom software solutions to support our operation, starting with helping our customers to design their mailing campaigns, create hundreds of thousands of content with variable data, operate our own machines to produce them in mass quantities, control the quality and post them individually to end-customers.

**Your profile**:

- You are in Europe, located in the Berlin area or you are ready to relocate to Berlin.
- Technician or an engineering degree at a technical college or university.
- Knowledge of CAD systems and materials science.
- Safe handling of CAD programs (Fusion 360, Solidworks, or similar).
- Experienced in sheet metal CAD designing.
- Knowledge of applied mathematics and mechanics.
- Spatial imagination and methodical understanding.
- Must be able to interpret scientific and technical documents.
- The ability to translate your ideas and visions into images and language
- Teamwork as well as the ability to work independently, high sense of quality.
- A strong, pragmatic attitude with an analytical mindset combined with good reporting capabilities.
- Getting things done attitude, goal orientation.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).

**Your tasks**:

- Design, develop and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
- Produce designs that meet requirements and targets.
- Check products for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation, and timing.
