As a Game System Designer for Popcore, you will play a key role in the game design and development team. From the conceptualisation stage to the final polish, you will translate high-level game concepts into complex models of game pace, balance, and economy. As part of the design team, and with your expertise, you are able to create economy and balance rules. You create and maintain the numerical/systems perspective on user behaviour and game mechanics through understanding factors of fun and the reasons why people play and, ultimately, pay for the experience.

**What you will do**:

- Data entry and management of game data and spreadsheets
- Produce prototypes, oversee testing and implement change
- Iterate, polish and balance player progression and experience
- Tuning and balance of game data through spreadsheets
- Oversee quality assurance process and implement changes

**What we are looking for**:

- 3+ years experience working for Mobile Games in a similar role
- Strong critical and analytical thinking
- Advanced knowledge of excel spreadsheet
- Strong understanding of stat curves, player progression systems, and gameplay loops
- Ability to identify, break down, and define core mechanics
- Hands on knowledge of a 3D game engine
