Senior Buyer Kids Textile

**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As a Senior Buyer in our Kids - Textile & Accessories category, you're part of a high performing team, creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion in our Offprice segment. You are responsible for branded buying, working together with your and planning teams.

**WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- Strategical, reporting to Team Lead Kids. You are responsible to define and execute the cluster strategy while considering all relevant KPIs and market environment.
- Leading a team of 2 Buyers; you will be fully responsible for managing, coaching and developing your team by identifying their strengths, development areas and training needs.
- Managing and developing an own portfolio of highly relevant brands of the cluster.
- Together with Category Controlling, being responsible for meeting the signed-off cluster strategy including budget, assortment planning & pre-validation.
- Stakeholder management and constant exchange with other departments such as _Sales_, _Logistics_, Content and photo production, Fashion Store, Marketing are key to your work, ensuring that we act in line with the whole organisation. You will work cross functionally to drive_ sales _and maximise profit
- You know the latest trends and be up-to-date in terms of fashion European markets, especially for the Kids Category.

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have a minimum 5 years of buying fashion experience in a Head Office and fashion knowledge, preferably with a background in Kids Textile.
- You have first leadership experience and have a sense of how to inspire, support and develop people.
- You have excellent analytical skills, knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and formulas) and combining the passion for numbers with fashion and trends
- Negotiation is in your blood, and you are always a compelling figure when communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders
- You have a quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment, while embracing collaboration. Being able to work in a team as well as being very independent
- You have excellent written and spoken communication in English, German and/or French are a plus
