Investor Onboarding Associate

- So what will you do?_
- Oversee onboarding of new investor accounts within our Evergreen product suite.
- Manage set up of new intermediaries, custodians, platforms, and interfaces to streamline onboarding timelines and optimize investor experience.
- Work closely with our Business Development teams across Europe, Asia Pacific, North and South America to manage investor expectations by providing transparency around the onboarding process.
- Prepare regular trade activity reporting on the Evergreen Funds and provide weekly updates to Senior Management.
- Create critical controls to mitigate risks related to regulatory and compliance reporting, portfolio restrictions, and investor communications.
- Collaborate with internal/external counsel to review and amend legal agreements with investors, distributors, and service providers to ensure the agreed terms are aligned with the Fund’s obligations.
- Communicate with custodians, banks, and service providers to resolve issues related to daily processes, data delivery, trade settlement, monthly closing processes, etc.
- Build strong relationships across the organization by partnering closely with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Portfolio Management, Operations) to deliver effective solutions for the Fund and its investors.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, comprehend, and resolve operational inefficiencies by understanding the intricacies of each team and process involved in the Evergreen funds’ lifecycles.
- Respond to diverse external and client requests in a timely and professional manner related to reporting, valuations, analyses, etc.
- Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements/restrictions of operating and marketing a retail fund across multiple jurisdictions.

- Fluent in English and German required. Additional languages are a plus
- Experience in the investment management/asset management industry
- Experience in onboarding; including AML/KYC processes, account opening, investor qualification requirements, etc.
- Knowledge of the different participants in the fund management business and their roles - fund managers, administrators, brokers, consultants and custodians
- Experience directly or indirectly supporting Sales teams and clients is a plus
- Experience working with legal documents with the ability to analyze their terms in respect to implications to fund operations is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; Advanced Excel skills are a plus
- Strong client management skills, process optimization and risk mitigation mentality
- Excellent attention to detail, extremely accurate and well organized
- Effective time management skills and ability to dynamically prioritize tasks to adhere to tight deadlines in various international time zones.
