We are seeking to appoint a **Junior Controller**for our location in**Hann.**Münden** or Heiligenstadt**

**The Role**

**In this exciting and**diversified**position** you will be responsible for**:

- Participation in weekly, month-end and year-close processes and budget variance analysis, as Stock Take and valuation of inventory (US Gaap, statutory, tax)
- Fixed assets and capital expenditure requests
- Following up and analyzing production orders and variances (Job close analysis)
- Prepare / Analyze and discuss KPI’s according to local and Group requirements
- Standard costing in cooperation with our Shared Service Center
- Ad-hoc analysis for local & group stakeholders
- Collaboration with the accounting department
- Provide analytical support to managers in business decisions
- Collaboration with operational departments as continuous improvement in production processes

**The** Pe**rson**

To succeed in this role you will
- Degree in Accounting/Controlling or equivalent
- 2+ years of progressive experience in Finance, preferably in industrial environment
- Robust knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI preferable
- Solid grasp of the SAP system particularly FI and CO modules
- Good understanding of Costing process in Industrial setting
- Local GAAP knowledge
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting rules beneficial
- Very good command of written and spoken English, enabling free communication
- Ability to work individually and in a team
