**The opportunity**

We're currently looking for an Intern. Someone to join the Human Resources team in order to help drive and retain our current talent. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn't mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.

This position is located at our office in Cologne. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

**The responsibilities**

In this role, you'll be expected to support the HR Business Partner Germany. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:

- Recruitment support
- Process support and maintenance of accurate data in our HR portal
- Assist in the development of HR processes
- Preparation of presentation materials and reports
- Assist with payroll input and output as well as the management of the company pension scheme
- Assist in the administration of the IT equipment

In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible.
- Fluent in German and English
- Structured and organized
- Communicator, as it is important to steering our internal and external stakeholders

In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:

- Degree in Business Administration, psychology, international business or a comparable field of study. Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme for the entire duration of the internship
- First internship experience is desirable, but not a requirement
- Confident use of MS Office
