Finance Intern

We at Scoutbee are looking for a **Finance Intern** in our **Berlin** office, to work as a part of the core finance team. We prepare internal and external financial reports, while creating financial literacy across the company, as well as monitoring the company's performance and KPIs. We are a strong team with a communicative and open culture - Together we create transparency, financial structure and make sure all numbers and information reach all stakeholders in a timely manner.

You will be working on several strategic projects ranging from financial planning, financial process optimizations and several key ad-hoc projects. It demands flexibility and an understanding of financial standards, accounting and analytical thinking. The role has touch points with several operational managers at scoutbee from all the departments both in Germany as well as in the US.

**Your role in our beehive**
- Actively supporting Strategy & Finance team back & front-office with:

- Internal and External reporting of Financial Statements & Presentations
- Finance daily operational activities, such as Modeling, Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, Controlling and Accounting
- KPIs tracking
- Critical ad-hoc topics
- Investor Relations
- Gain insight into an exciting online B2B startup, learn day-to-day management and build functional expertise in Finance
- Your assistance would influence management decisions

**What you bring to our beehive**
- Currently enrolled in a German university at a Bachelor's or Master's level (finance, business, data)
- Basic Understanding of Financial Reporting, Accounting, Financial Modeling and German GAAP (HGB)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (focus on Excel and PowerPoint) is needed, knowledge of VBA is a plus
- Prior experience in controlling, budgeting and/or Finance is a plus
- High motivation, very energetic and independent in handling business challenges
- We fail fast and learn faster - You must be highly adaptive, willing to be agile and a quick learner
- You are comfortable and have the ability to achieve goals in a dynamic and high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work independently and handle business challenges
- To-Do-mentality with strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
