Secret Escapes is hiring a **Product Designer **with expertise in iOS and Android app design, based in Berlin, to join our growing team.

The Product Design team at Secret Escapes is organised into software development squads focused on enhancing customer, partner, and internal user experiences. Product Designers collaborate with Squads, leveraging their expertise to solve user problems across the business, collaborating with Product Managers and engineers to drive user-centered discoveries from conception to the final UX and UI design for both new and existing features. Despite working across various teams and locations, we seize every chance to come together, foster collaboration, and sustain high energy levels.

**The Team**:
**The Role**:
As an App Designer at Secret Escapes, your main focus will be on crafting top-notch, user-centric solutions that are informed and validated through thorough user research for both the iOS and Android platforms. You will utilise Material and iOS native assets as the foundation for your experimentation and design exploration.

**What you'll do**:

- Develop and articulate design concepts for both Android and iOS platforms using sketches, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Embrace an iterative approach and lean principles to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in the design process.
- Produce high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes to articulate functionality and visual transitions
- Run user research and testing to validate designs
- Work closely with Product Managers to run workshops and explore solutions to meet user needs
- Collaborate with fellow designers to ensure cohesive and thoughtful design consistency across all aspects of the project.
- Showcase work to stakeholders to make sure designs fit with desired business outcomes
- Work closely with Engineers to bring designs to life and come up with creative solutions to technical constraints
- Contribute to building and evolving our design system

**You are**:
As well as a strong portfolio showcasing your breadth of app design work and processes, you are:

- Naturally curious and open minded, confident to challenge the status-quo in the pursuit of moving the dial from 'good' to 'great'
- Highly collaborative and open to sharing seeking constructive critical feedback from early ideas to work-in progress concepts
- Multi-skilled, able to tackle user research and prototyping to showcase functionality just as confidently as turning your hand to and producing engaging and usable visual interfaces
- Comfortable working at pace in a dynamic environment whilst remaining highly detail oriented
- Adaptable and pragmatic, embracing constraints and trade-offs as part of your design process
- Passionate about the value of design and the impact it can have, advocating for lean and user-centered principles
- A clear communicator, comfortable with sharing and presenting

**You have**:

- Worked on digital products for native apps
- Good knowledge of app design systems
- Experience working in agile product teams on digital products and services
- Conducted both in-person and remote moderated and unmoderated user interviews and usability testing
- Mastered design and prototyping with Figma
