- The Senior Buyer Automotive (m/w/d) is responsible for the purchase of direct materials for advanced projects, new projects and running production.
- The position holder manages the full procurement process for the commodities assigned, in accordance with the policies and strategic guidance provided by the global procurement organization.

Identifiziert Lieferanten für neue und zukünftige Projekte in der Region.
Unterstützt die Einholung und Bewertung von Angeboten für Artikel oberhalb der Gebotsschwelle, die nicht unter Vertrag stehen und die nicht Teil des globalen Beschaffungsprozesses sind.
Baut Beziehungen zu Lieferanten auf und verhandelt mit ihnen über die besten Preise, Mengen und Lieferfristen.
Treibt Kostensenkungen und Einsparungsinitiativen auf Werksebene unter Verwendung von KVP, VA/VE, Market Basket und lokalen Benchmarks zur Optimierung der Total Landed Cost und anderer Nachhaltigkeitsfaktoren voran.
Verhandelt die besten Lieferbedingungen, Metallmarktvereinbarungen und Langzeitvereinbarungen und aktualisiert den Vertragsstatus.
Führt die Verwaltung des Lebenszyklus von Bestellungen durch, berichtet über auslaufende/veraltete Bestellungen oder Verträge und führt Bereinigungs
- oder Abschlussaktivitäten durch.
Prüft und bearbeitet eingehende Bestellanforderungen oder Bestellungen, gibt Werkzeugbestellungen auf, veranlasst Zahlungen für Werkzeugbestellungen, leitet PPAP-Anträge ein und aktualisiert Bestellungen mit Konstruktionsänderungen/Überarbeitungen.
Kontaktaufnahme mit Lieferanten und Geschäftspartnern zur Klärung von Routineproblemen wie überfälligen Bestellungen, Abweichungen bei Frachtkosten/Fakturierung, Preis-/Rechnungsabweichungen, Aktualisierung/Erhöhung von Bestellungen usw.
Erstellt das Ausgabenbudget für das folgende Jahr, prognostiziert Ausgaben und Preisänderungen für die kommenden Monate.
Überwacht die Einhaltung der Richtlinien und Verfahren der Geschäftseinheit und des AAM Procurement.
Andere zugewiesene Beschaffungstätigkeiten.

ENGLISH
Identifies suppliers for new and future projects in the region.
Supports the solicitation of quotes and evaluation of bids for items above the bid threshold not under contract and those not part of the global category management sourcing process.
Builds relationships with suppliers, negotiating for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales.
Drives cost reductions, saving ideas and initiatives at plant level utilizing CIP, VA/VE, Market Basket and local benchmarks to optimize the Total Landed Cost and other sustainability factors.
Negotiates best delivery conditions, Metal Market Agreements and Long Term Agreements, updates the contract status.
Performs Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle management, reporting on expiring/aged POs or contracts and executes clean up or close out activities.
Reviews and processes incoming requisitions or POs, places tool orders, initiates tool order payments, initiates PPAP requests and updates POs with design changes/revisions.
Liases with suppliers and business partners to resolve routine issues such as past-due POs, match exceptions, discrepancies in freight charges/billing, price/invoice discrepancies, updating/incrementing POs etc.
Establishes the spending budget for the following year, forecasts spend and price changes for the coming months.
Monitors compliance with business unit and AAM Procurement corporate policies and procedures.
Other procurement activities as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
DEUTSCH
Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Bachelor
- oder Master-Studium mit einem Engineering
- oder Business-Schwerpunkt
Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Einkäufer in der Einkaufsabteilung eines Fertigungsunternehmens
Berufserfahrung in der Direktbeschaffung wäre von Vorteil
Grundlegendes technisches Verständnis von Fertigungsprozessen
Nachgewiesene Kompetenz im Management von Lief
