For our Tec-Center** Berlin Adlershof **we are looking for a **Optical Mechanical Lab. Technician (M/F/d)**
A Precision Connectivity Technician’s role is to support new products, proof of concept and process development activities. Assemble high precision optical devices, connectors and other related fiber optic telecommunication products and analyze them according to internal and industry test standards. He will collaborate with development engineers to deliver optic and connectivity solutions for manufacturing.
**Job requirements**:
- Support development engineers in products development stages
- Assembly and testing of optical devices and connectors
- Collect, analyze, report and present the results
- Define Optical Lab. Needs
**Required skills**:
- Knowledge in micro-optics and optical connectors.
- Experience in optic & micro-optic assemblies
- Knowledge in optic, electro-mechanical & mechanical assembly processes
- Knowledge in optic and electronic test equipment
- Familiar with optical industry standardized testing
- Understanding of mechanical drawings
- Collect and analyze numerical data
- Knowledge in reports writing and presentations
- Location at CTCB Berlin
**Personal Skills**:
- Education level: Technical bachelor’s degree or similar apprenticeship
- Minimum of 5-years of experience assembly optical products and optic lab. equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge in reports writing and presentations
- Work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office
- Good English
