Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Major Oil Refinery looking to hire a Sustainability Officer to join the team in Berlin.

**Key Responsibilities / Tasks**
- Responsible for managing the proof of Sustainability related to Biofuels mass balances.
- Analyze relevant EU legislation processes on an international level.
- Responsible for the implementation and Settlement of CO2 tax obligations, as well as the management of Emissions reduction projects and their ticket handling.
- Ensure successful annual quota submissions/biofuels report to customs.
- Role reports to Head of Renewables.

**Key Qualifications / Experience**
- 3+ years’ experience in the renewables and sustainability space, ideally within Biofuels.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, SAP, and VTA-Biofuels.
- Degree in economics, engineering, or science
- Fluency in English and German required.
- Role to be located in Berlin, Germany
