**We are looking for**:
The **News Editor - Technical Writer (part-time or full-time)** will work with the international pv magazine editorial team in reporting on the PV industry’s markets and technologies **on the pv magazine online news channel and daily newsletter**. The topics will be mostly related to **new products, scientific papers, novel solar and renewable energy technologies, and startups**.

**Your responsibilities**:

- **Write technical articles** and news for **pv magazine** online platforms in **a proactive manner**, meeting the needs of both a specialist and more mainstream readership
- ** Research **and **identify** potential topics from the solar and renewable energy industry
- **Copyedit** and **review **articles and news provided by other editorial team members
- Close collaboration with colleagues in Sales, Marketing and Events

**Your profile**:

- Working experience in **technical writing**:

- Writing clear and technically correct **English** with strong command of grammar, spelling, and style. **Other languages** (particularly German, Spanish and French) will be viewed favorably, including basic translation skills
- Knowledge of renewable energy, and specifically the solar **PV industry**, is a strong advantage
- A good ability to understand complex technical concepts and convey information to **a wider readership**, including technical specialists, as well as to the general public
- Solid **storytelling and editing **skills
