**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Head of People will be responsible for driving people and business initiatives across the company. This role is both hands-on and strategic: you will be contributing to the areas of performance management, recruiting, employee retention, coaching and development, and will also get involved in ad hoc projects if necessary.

**WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Several years of experience in the HR field and in a comparable management position with a clear focus on Human Resource Management. Experience in SaaS or start/scale-up environment is a plus
- HR Strategy: You have a strategic mindset with great skills in organizational development. You love working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment and know how to motivate your team to reach new heights.
- People development: You have a proven track record of creating and implementing strategies that support the growth and development of employees and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Company culture: You are an experienced leader that shapes company culture and ensures that all our employees feel valued, supported, and inspired.
- Coaching & Mentorship: You know how to create a strong team feeling, have great coaching skills, and value trust and cooperation.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and HR initiatives simultaneously.
- Positivity: You spark positivity, are a great motivator, and know how to navigate a team through faces of growth, but would well be equipped to handle challenging times as well.
- Team player: you unfold your true potential working together with a diverse team like ours
- Languages: Being fluent in English is mandatory, German language fluency would be considered an advantage

**ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL**:

- You report to the founders
- You are part of the management team and act as a trusted and assertive Partner on all things people-related including performance management, coaching, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Lead a team of 7 by organizing clear responsibilities and enabling the division to be recognized as a value-adding partner.
- Responsible for the design and delivery of the global Talon.One people´s strategy.
- Lead the development of the division goals, and make sure the goals are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Lead the collection of various types of employee data, including employee surveys and performance reviews, to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance and engagement.
- Ensure workforce and succession planning as well as setting-up long-term capabilities and provide guidance regarding business unit restructurings.
- Collaborate with our Lawyers to maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Take a leadership role in developing an organizational culture consistent with our international remote-first approach the Talon.One’s mission and values.
