Head of Product

**Your mission**:

- You manage and lead our Product, Design, User Research, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
- You define our product strategy, empowering your team to take ownership of tactical product development.
- You own and prioritize product development, ensuring alignment with business opportunities and goals.
- You drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams.
- You act as the primary point of contact for executive management on product-related matters.
- With our Head of Engineering, you foster innovation and continuous improvement within the department.
- You stay up to date on market trends and customer needs to inform the product strategy.
- You drive user-centric product development, incorporating user research and feedback.
- You promote a data-driven culture ensuring that we’re constantly analyzing product performance, using data to identify areas for improvement and inform strategy.

**Your profile**:

- You have a degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science, or adequate professional experience.
- You possess strong expertise in product management, people management, software delivery with modern agile teams, and project management.
- You have knowledge in market and user research, product design, data analytics, and conversion rate optimization.
- You have a minimum of 4 years of experience as Head of Product or Lead Product Manager with team leadership responsibilities.
- You have experience in e-commerce, particularly with products targeting non-expert users.
- You are proficient in Agile management tools (e.g., Jira) and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- You are preferably familiar with product portfolio management software (e.g., ProductPlan, ZenDesk, and HubSpot).
- You possess strong soft skills including coaching, empathy, decision-making, stakeholder and expectation management, persuasion, and the ability to develop a clear vision.
- You are fluent in German (C1+ level) and English (B2 level).

We have over 70 members of staff with our HQ in Neuss just outside of Düsseldorf. We have a flexible mixed remote and onsite policy.

You can work remotely from where you are, but we will require regular travel to our headquarters.
