Senior Project Finance Originator

We are actively involved in identifying, structuring, arranging, and lending to project finance transactions in Europe. Reporting to the Co-Heads of Project & Structured Finance for Europe, you will be based in Munich, a thriving city that offers a vibrant and inclusive work environment.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for identifying, arranging and transacting project and structured finance opportunities, typically as part of a bank club arranging group, or alternatively acquired on a primary or secondary syndication basis. In occasions, you will also act as lead coordinator and lead structuring bank for our customers. You will support to identify and prosecute new markets and products as necessary and build and maintain relationships with clients. **This will be your impact**:

- Identifying and proactively developing, structuring, lead-arranging, negotiating and executing project-, corporate/hybrid
- as well as asset-based debt structures, creating term sheets and negotiating finance documentation.
- Developing customer and transaction specific solutions and structures for debt and asset-finance structures, where appropriate in alignment with our Finance Advisory team and relevant Siemens AG businesses.
- Collaborating with colleagues from various teams including Debt Origination, Risk Management, Risk Rating and Legal.
- Building and nurturing our well-established external contact base of lead arranging banks, project sponsors and financial advisers to engage proactively in potential financing solutions.
- Leveraging your market knowledge, experience and established customer base to contribute to the growth of our project and structured debt franchise.
- Connecting with the Siemens Vertical Markets Teams to support Siemens' sales activities and encouraging collaboration with colleagues in other SFS teams such as Financial Advisory, Equity and Commercial Finance.
- Demonstrating outstanding communication skills, business integrity, and professional judgment while being committed to your personal and career development.

**This is how you'll win us over**:

- Significant knowledge of the structured and project-finance market (10 years +) from a debt perspective including expertise of, and an identifiable track-record of closing (as a lender) transactions within Energy Transition, Transportation, Infrastructure, Infra-Corporate or Digital Infrastructure sectors
- Experience with asset-finance and/or corporate-hybrid financing and/or portfolio
- platform financings will be viewed positively
- Graduate-level educational background, preference for a degree related to finance, banking or engineering
- Significant proven experience in a front-office / client facing project finance lending environment, strong structuring, financial modelling and negotiation skills and deep understanding of market developments in the infrastructure and energy markets
- Experience in steering complex mandates, aligning internal teams, and ensuring seamless coordination with external stakeholders
- Well established market network including sponsors, arranging banks and advisors to support continued growth in our project and structured debt franchise
- An additional qualification will be viewed positively (e.g., MBA, CFA)
- A genuine enthusiasm for working in a collaborative environment and supporting the growth of junior colleagues is highly valued
- You are a committed professional demonstrating judgement and business integrity who possesses strong communication skills
