**What You’ll Accomplish**
- Be on-the-ground “COO” (i.e. do whatever’s required to make the team successful)
- Set up Universal Quantum’s second major operation and facility
- Finance - gear us up on the best tools, accountants, suppliers, insurance, processes
- Facilities - oversee build out of world-class quantum computing facility, while also not being afraid to take out the bins
- People & Culture - partner with talent team to attract & retain, run events
- Commercial, partnerships & events -...you get the idea

**Requirements**:

- Experience building and running critical projects across multiple areas (e.g. finance, operations, facilities, commercial, R&D, legal and People) in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communicator both in person and through multiple media
- Intellectually curious

**Must-have Skills**
- Strong values fit (e.g. ambitious yet humble, confident yet patient)
- 8+ years experience in high-performing companies (ideally tech start-ups)
- Delivered complex projects, with measurable results
- Built and led teams
- Intellectual curiosity combined with analytical horsepower
- Passion and curiosity for technology
- Strong emotional intelligence and empathy for others
- Growth mindset
- English-speaking

**Nice-to-have Skills**
- Strong excel skills
- Ideally looking to grow someday into regional GM or functional head
