Content Specialist, Hospitality Dach

Lightspeed is looking for a results-driven, strategic German writer to be the voice of Lightspeed in Germany for the hospitality industry. As a key member of Lightspeed's dynamic in-house marketing team, you'll deliver content for a range of projects on multiple channels. You'll be the go-to expert on Lightspeed's suite of software solutions for restaurants, supporting the marketing team with campaign ideation and execution, editorial planning and additional initiatives that expand our reach in the German and Swiss German market. Your work will have a direct impact on positioning Lightspeed as the leading commerce platform for restaurants in Germany and Switzerland.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Delivering highly polished, creative and impactful copy that supports the go-to-market strategy and launch of new products and product updates
- Managing and executing the content calendar for your specific region and industry (blogs, social media, webinars, customer stories, bylines, etc.) to support marketing and PR needs
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of our key products, customers and businesses, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Writing and managing content on our website, ensuring it follows style guidelines and making recommendations for improvements
- Optimizing content performance with guidance from acquisitions and marketing leads
- Staying up to date on hospitality industry news and trends

**You'll bring to the team**:

- Outstanding writing skills and crazy attention to detail
- Ability to poke holes in copy—including your own—and iterate quickly
- Ability to take complex concepts and explain them simply and briefly
- Ability to create concepts from detailed marketing briefs
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Knowledge of SEO
- Familiarity with content management systems like Wordpress
- A passion for hospitality or a willingness to learn more
- Excellent people skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, from sales to product to support
- 3-5 years of experience in SAAS marketing, copywriting or journalism
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
