Mission Support Officer

**Duties**: - Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of Mission Support. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and mission support objectives. - Provides management oversight of unit-supported contracts to include, but not limited to, USAFE-based A&AS contracts and the Distributed Common Ground System Mission Support and Maintenance Personnel (DMSMP) contract. - Manages Commander's Programs for the Group and subordinate units. Develops, analyzes, modifies, manages, and staffs support agreements [to include Memorandums of Agreement, Memorandums of Understanding, Inter/Intra Service Agreements, and Service Level Agreements] in accordance with applicable directives. - Performs manpower accounting and formulation work involving detailed analysis of mission requirements. - Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directly supervises two government civilian, one NCO and one SNCO. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - U.S. Citizenship Required - All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period. - Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. - Travel and relocation expenses WILL BE PAID in accordance with the JTR AND AFMAN 36-606 - Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide - Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays - Shift work and emergency overtime may be required - Disclosure of Political Appointments - Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit - The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments - Protects classified material. Demonstrates sound security practices for ensuring the handling and safeguarding of classified information to mitigate potential compromise. - Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the DODI 1400.25 volume 1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights (5-year rule). **Qualifications**: - This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. - In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Regulatory Impact Analyst Positions.**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, theories, principles, practices, and the interrelationship of the financial, communications, public affairs, compliance, logistics, safety, manpower, organization, personnel, and training, security, plans and programs, operations, and strategy analysis; knowledge of advanced management and organizational principles and practices to develop and implement integrated approaches and solutions to mission support problems, policies, and procedures; and knowledge of organization goals and objectives, organizations, programs, missions, and functions to perform comprehensive analysis and studies in assigned functional areas. - **Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.** **AND** **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs**): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: - 1.
