Working Student - ESG & Sustainability (m/w/x)für Office in Munich

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) is part of SYNLAB’s Strategy and Culture and the Group ESG Team is responsible to driving and coordinating the topic within the Group. As a working student you will join as a member of the Global ESG team, reporting to the Group Head of ESG. This role entails supporting the Group Head and Group ESG Data Coordinator/Analyst on executing the global ESG strategy, establishing ESG data and content collection and validation processes for various stakeholders and helping grow SYLAB Group ESG Culture further.

**Das sind Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Support tasks related to sustainability projects on strategic and operational levels
- Assist with data analysis and reporting across a range of ESG metrics, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data collection and management
- Help drive employee engagement and internal communication programs on these topics
- Support undertaking of research projects and benchmarking analysis as needed on sustainability and ESG-related topics and themes
- Active role in preparation, implementation and follow-up on committees, workshops, trainings and other internal and external events.
- Assist on providing summaries, evaluations and analysis on relevant policy or market-related sustainability developments
- Assist with incoming stakeholder inquiries and requests for information as needed

**Das bringen Sie mit**:

- Has a passion for ESG and sustainability and find purpose in driving the topic within a business environment
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, preferably with a focus in Sustainability / CSR / ESG or environmental topics but this is not a must.
- Previous working experience on project management roles preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to work with different stakeholders
- Analytical and investigative skills, ability to assess complex topics and problem-solver
- Excellent knowledge in MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well within a team while also a successful self-starter and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional work ethic, ability to work under deadline, attention to detail and sense of humor
- Previous working experience in sustainability, ESG, finance or economics is a plus
