On a regular week, the Nanny will work approx 25h over five weekday shifts (e.g. twice 15.00-18.30 and thrice 16.00-22.00) and will be tasked with KiTa pickup (a short walk from the family home) short outings and dinner/evening routines. On weeks that are busier/more complex (due to Mum traveling, KiTa closures, child illness, or family+Nanny traveling together) the Nanny will be needed for up to 40h/week: whenever possible a minimum of two weeks' notice will be given. The family wish to operate within an hour bank system: the Nanny will be compensated for 32h/week (yearly average) and hours paid but not worked will be "banked" to be used at a later date (within two months). You will spend time with the children at home or outdoors, depending on the weather. Duties include providing a safe and nurturing environment for the child, being proactive in researching and organizing stimulating, age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals and providing a nurturing environment to further his development. The family is looking to build a close, long term relationship with the Nanny. The family is happy to also contribute towards a travel card. This is a long-term position from **32 hours **per week.
