Intern Asset Integrity

Your Work
- Update of field integrity, incident tracking, maintenance planning, and pipeline risk assessment documents and tools for each of the oil and gas field operated assets that detail the integrity tasks being undertaken at each facility. Liaise between operations and integrity for tracking performance on core integrity aspects such as chemical and pigging compliance.
- Support the on-going development of field pipeline hydraulic models with software tools and calibrate with field data
- Support of facilities engineering project stewardship: engineering task tracking, document control, cost estimates and control
- Preparation of management of change documents in coordination with facility engineer and operations group.
- Participation in group meeting and presentations, and when requested assistance in preparation of meeting materials and meeting record taking.
- Work and field visits with field personnel on debriefing on how the equipment is managed on a day to day basis. Perform field safety observations and audits while in the field using Vermilion’s reporting management system (ENABLON).
- Use of risk management tools to determine what potential integrity threats exist at each facility, and solutions on how those threats are managed.

Your Experience
- University educated with engineering background, e.g. Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering, Materials Physics, (Geo)Environmental Engineering or Mining Engineering
- Experience with inspections or previous upstream oil and gas knowledge would be a plus
- Comfortable use of Microsoft office work pack (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English. German is an advantage.
- Autonomous work ethic, with ability to think larger scale and then focus in on the details
