**Procurement Engineering Specialist (M/F/d) - Electronic Manufacturer Services Coordinator**:

This role represents procurement and logistics specialists in the Busch-Jaeger Elektro, Germany (ELSB) in Lüdenscheid, Germany NRW, with focus on managing and execute coordination of electronic components for the production and manufacturing of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and Box Built with the selected supplier. Within the New Product Introduction (NPI) process the implementing of effective sourcing strategies is mandatory, to ensure that existing and new suppliers offer the expected quality, capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. Reporting to the Head of project coordination, you will drive excellence in the execution of purchasing and logistics strategies that aid the business by optimizing costs, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products and PCBAs.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategic, project work for new product launches and product discontinuations focused on PCBAs and Box Built products.
- Technical evaluation of supplier offers, acceptance of delivered equipment or services as fit for purpose.
- Supplier selection, supply chain management, contract design as well as ensuring the quality requirements in consideration legal knowledge.
- Leveraging CIPS (Continuous Improvement Sourcing Process) category teams locally, regionally and globally to ensure appropriate supplier selection and qualification.
- Contract negotiations on quantity, prices, delivery dates and general contract conditions.
- Support the global Transformation Team to search and qualify new EMS and Box Built suppliers to build up a reasonable supplier portfolio.
- Lead and design together with a dedicated project team the processes for a valuable Interface function between an internal global NPI Team and external Suppliers for PCBAs and Box Built and start executing the new processes.
- Ensure component availability to secure PCBA production in all phases of the development process until market entry and beyond.

**Your background**:

- More than 2 years of experience in procurement, working as strategic or project buyer with focus on electronic and in addition experiences in production of PCBAs
- Well-founded technical knowledge in the field of electronics
- Good knowledge and/or experiences in production and manufacturing of PCBAs including testing, qualifying and failure analysis
- Knowledge of procurement processes, experience in the international product development and purchasing process
- German and English spoken and written
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally, 10%-20%
