**Chief Procurement Officer (M/F/d) - Location flexible**

We are looking for a Chief Procurement Officer to align and secure our procurement activities. Someone who wants to use their excellent leadership skills in creating the future, building, and motivating an effective and inspiring team and thrive in a global environment driven by the will to deliver. The location for this position is flexible, and the role requires international travel.

Other responsibilities are to: collect purchasing requirements from the organization and translate them into objectives; have an overview of the external spend, and execute agreed projects within the organization. You secure appropriate agreements for the category/supplier, and you are also the lead negotiator in strategic decisions for the business area. You are also responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring actions to improve the cost and performance of the suppliers, as well as managing and developing the teams of Strategic Sourcing, Tactical/Operational Purchasing, and Supplier Quality.

You are a member of the management team and report directly to the Vice President of Global Operations.

**Your Profile**:

- Master’s in Technology and/or Business Administration, and extensive experience from a managerial purchasing role in a multinational manufacturing company, as well as from a line management position
- Experience from working with senior stakeholders as well as production engineers, or similar roles, good business acumen, and know your way around SAP
- It is advantageous if you have been a member of a management team
- Good skills in verbal and written English, while knowledge of German is an advantage
- Passion and personality, characterized by the ability to lead change and motivate people
- True team player, with good negotiation skills and a profound ability to analyze situations
- Structured way of working to set ambitious targets, deliver on promises, and follow-through
- Build trust easily and, as an excellent networker with a good understanding of stakeholder needs, you communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners at all levels of the organization
- With your strategic and holistic view, you are also able to act on both short-term and long-term objectives
- Willingness to travel international
