The Information Security & Data Privacy Specialist will be responsible for further developing and implementing robust security measures, adhering to ISO 27001 and other relevant frameworks, and serving as the main point of contact for auditors and legal counsel. Additionally, establishing and documenting security processes, conducting risk analyses, managing data privacy regulations, and fostering awareness and training initiatives for staff are essential contents of the role. The mission is to establish a secure and compliant environment while balancing business needs and delivering effective results. The Information Security & Data Privacy Specialist will report to VP Finance & Audit.

**What you will do**:

- You will further develop the existing management systems and take responsibility for the IT security & data privacy processes
- You will recommend and develop measures to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 as well as other applicable information security requirements and frameworks
- You will be main contact person for internal and external auditors and support the audits from applike group perspective
- You will help our different ventures to build compliant & reliable security processes and you are responsible for documenting the processes
- You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating internal (risk) analyses and derive measures if necessary
- You will act as the major point of contact for internal and external information security issues, as well as data protection-related inquiries
- You will manage our different data privacy processes in order to stay complaint with ongoing data privacy regulations
- You will be main contact person for lawyers on data privacy topics
- You will plan measures to raise awareness among the staff, conduct specific training sessions and monitor progress
- You will further develop the incident management process, including the development of preventive measures
- You will select and implement new tools to manage different processes and help to train the staff how to use them properly

**Who you are**:

- You have successfully completed your studies, ideally in Business Informatics, Business Administration, law or a comparable field
- You have a genuine passion for technology but can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You have practical experience in the fields of data protection, information security, or information technology with a focus on IT governance
- You have a deep understanding of current data privacy regulations, esp. GDPR
- Your are able to understand technical topics quickly and you are able to improve processes based on your analysis
- You love to find a good trade off between business needs, compliance requirements and corporate standards and thus deliver convincing results
- You are able to communicate in German and in English with internal and external partners, and you have a conscientious work style
- You appreciate an international environment, a motivated team and you have a passion for work
