**Global Economics and Business Management B. A.**:
Ein internationales Managementstudium mit gezieltem Fokus auf eine Weltregion - das bietet der neue Bachelorstudiengang Global Economics and Business Management. Neben Englisch gehört der Erwerb einer weiteren Fremdsprache ebenso zum Studium wie ein verpflichtendes Semester an einer ausländischen Partnerhochschule und ein Auslandspraktikum. Je nach gewähltem Studienschwerpunkt werden die Studierenden so bestmöglich für eine Tätigkeit in international agierenden Unternehmen oder Außenhandelskammern, Kompetenzzentren für Märkte und Länderfachleute und anderen internationalen Organisationen qualifiziert.

**Duales Studium oder Studium mit vertiefter Praxis**: Neben dem klassischen Studium kann der Studiengang Global Economics and Business Management auch dual studiert oder mit vertiefter Praxis studiert werden. Das Duale Studium ermöglicht eine Kombination aus praktischen Ausbildungselementen in einem Unternehmen und theoretischer Ausbildung an der Hochschule. Dabei kann entweder das Verbundmodell (Studium & Berufsausbildung) oder der Studiengang mit vertiefter Praxis (Studium und intensive Praxisphasen) gewählt werden. Der Vorteil für Studierende liegt auf der Hand: mit einer praxisnahen akademischen Ausbildung gestaltet sich der Übergang von Studium in den Beruf meist fließend. Darüber hinaus wird der Studierende vom jeweiligen Unternehmen in der Regel finanziell vergütet.

Der Einstieg im Unternehmen beginnt im Modell Verbundstudium unternehmensabhängig zum Teil bereits mehrere Monate vor dem ersten Semester. Mit Beginn des Studiums wechseln Theorie (Semesterzeiten) und Praxis (vorlesungsfreie Zeit sowie Praxissemester) einander ab. Für das duale Studium ist sowohl eine Bewerbung beim Unternehmen als auch an der Hochschule erforderlich (Achtung: Bewerbungsfristen im Unternehmen beachten).
