The team is actively shaping the future of all data processing activities in Munich Re’s reinsurance accounting operations worldwide. We are committed to designing efficient, user-centric and scalable processes that exploit RIA’s digitalization potential. We drive our projects from ideation to implementation, thereby having a tangible impact on the future of our accounting operations. To accomplish our goal we foster a culture of continuous learning and development, exploring new tools and methods that enable us to serve our stakeholders best. We make data processing efficient and develop the future of global accounting processes in Munich Re's life reinsurance.

Becoming an intern will provide you the chance to gain insights into the processes and work practices of global accounting departments and their interfaces. Your internship can be first (next to) fulltime and then switch to part-time. It should last at least six months.

Your job
- Collaboration in the implementation of automation solutions
- Support in the setup and migration of cloud solutions
- Communication with relevant Munich Re units in Munich and abroad
- Collaboration in the RIA Data maintenance and processing team

**Profile**:

- Study of computer science, physics, mathematics
- Very good English and German skills
- Affinity for teamwork also internationally
- Ability to grasp new topics quickly
- Enthusiasm about developing and implementing new ideas, while having a practical outlook
- Data Analytics & Vizualizations skills
- Knowledge of R and actuarial mathematics is an advantage
