**General Purpose**
Our team within the HW R&D organisation in Ulm is focusing on electromechanical development projects for mobile networks basestations. We are looking for an experienced power supply electronics design engineer to strengthen our team and to drive the introduction of new technologies. **_Main Responsibility Area_**
You will take ownership and responsibility of the HW power supply design of various projects related to mobile network basestation development. The complexity range spans from the design of single on-board power supplies up to the creation of complete power supply concepts.

**_Position Description_**
Your work will include the full variety of electrical engineering tasks in the areas of analog and digital power supplies. This includes concept finding, cost analysis, circuit design and simulation, PWB layout guidance, system integration, testing and documentation. We will expect you also to solve power supply design related issues occurring in production lines or in the field and to document and implement the needed electrical design changes according to specifications and processes. Close cooperation with many different competence areas like PWB design, configuration management, baseband and mechanical engineering will also be part of your tasks.

**_Position Requirements_**
- To succeed in this role you ideally should have specialist level competence in analog and digital circuit level power supply design, switching mode power topologies, magnetic circuits, EMI filtering and feedback loop design. In addition, you should have experience in using appropriate design
- and simulation tools. You might also be familiar with specification work and product documentation creation in the power supply design area._

**Position Requirements**:
We expect from you the motivation and interest to work with thermal concepts. Ideally you have already thorough experience with the creation of thermal models and with the handling of simulation tools. But we would also give a chance to graduates with appropriate branch of study (like mechanical or electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics). Fluent written and spoken English is essential due to our international working environment. We are setting a high value on your willingness to work self-motivated and within a team. We require a target-oriented, innovative and systematic style of working and the ability to cooperate with team colleagues as well as external project interfaces.
