Berlin | Relocation Package
In this role, you will be the most senior in a team of 4 top software engineers. You will lead architectural decisions and drive the transition to an event-driven design & infrastructure.
You should have strong experience working on event-driven systems with Node.js & Typescript. Additionally, it would help if you had prior experience in e-commerce infrastructure and/or payment processing.
Knowledge of the gaming space is not required, but enthusiasm is appreciated: )
| COMPANY
This stealth startup builds an asset exchange & marketplace for digital gaming collectables, a place where players can exchange assets from the games they are playing.
Today, virtual gaming economies are either highly encapsulated or completely cut off from each other, with game players unable to transfer (or sell) values between their virtual identities on the different gaming platforms.
They are currently a small team of 3 plus 3 freelancers. The founder is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience of the gaming industry.

This hybrid remote role is based in Berlin (2-3 days). Your relocation costs will be covered if you have to move for this role.
| MORE ON THIS ROLE
In this hands-on role, you will be pivotal in expanding the core platform to become a multi-vendor marketplace in 135+ locales. You will author and review roadmaps, technical docs, and press releases, manage the backlog, and have fun while coding yourself.
Aside of your strong Node.js & Typescript experience, you should have a decent understanding of web security best practices. Prior experience with message brokers (Kafka or Redis Streams), GraphQL APIs or Hasura as well as Adyen or Stripe Connect would be nice to have.
