About the Team - Better Places

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Owner to join the dynamic team at Bettermile. In this role, you will have a crucial responsibility in the data normalisation and deep analysis of our geodata, with a specific focus on the address system of our Better Places backend services. The normalisation process is an essential step in geocoding, which is then performed via API requests. As a Technical Product Owner, you will primarily collaborate with engineers, QA teams, and other product teams to improve the functionality and internationalisation efforts of our address system. Moreover, you will closely work with our user insights and support team to resolve any issues associated with incorrect addresses.

Tasks

You will be taking care of
- Conducting data normalisation of places and address systems within the Better Places API.
- Performing deep dives and analysis of geocoding data to derive meaningful insights.
- Collaborating with Engineers, QA, and other product teams to improve the address system's functionality.
- Engaging in heavy interaction with product teams and the user insights & support team to address issues related to incorrect addresses.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and iterative approach to problem-solving and project management.

**Requirements**:
You check these boxes
- Previous experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner in a software development environment, preferably in mobility technology products such as navigation, routing, ride-/car-sharing, delivery, ride-hailing, or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geocoding, location intelligence
- Proficient in data analysis, with a focus on geospatial data and product components.
- A high affinity for technical topics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an iterative approach to product development.
- Self-driven with a hands-on mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.

It is awesome if you also have
- Knowledge of B2B SaaS products, particularly dashboards.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, at various levels.
- Interest in working on greenfield topics and improving existing products.
