**Requirements**:
**Required**:
**Degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.**

**Proven experience of 5+ years in a Safety Manager role in the Automotive domain.**

**In-depth knowledge of safety standard ISO 26262.**

**Deep understanding of functional safety principles and compliance with relevant automotive safety standards.**

**Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and safety analysis techniques.**

**Knowledge of System, Software and/or Hardware development.**

**Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.**

**Proficient in German and English.**

**Desired**:
**Good understanding or hands-on experience working with ASPICE**

**Certification in functional safety (e.g., CFSE, TÜV Functional Safety Engineer).**

**Experience in leading functional safety initiatives in a complex international engineering environment.**

**We are currently seeking a highly qualified Functional Safety Manager / Functional Safety Advocate / Functional Safety Evangelist to join our team to strengthen and build up state-of-the-art Functional Safety organizational culture and engineering capabilities**

**As a Functional Safety Manager, you will join a FuSa Community and get a chance to work on several projects in the Automotive domain and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our projects, systems, and processes.**

**You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving our complex Functional Safety Management System, functional safety strategies, standards, and procedures to meet industry-specific safety requirements.**

**Responsibilities**:
**Oversee the entire functional safety process.**

**Develop and implement the functional safety management system.**

**Support project management with a strong focus on functional safety.**

**Coordinate functional safety activities, resources, and timelines.**

**Ensure the project adheres to safety plans and objectives.**

**Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).**

**Manage safety assessments and audits.**

**Collaborate with other teams and client stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.**

**Moderation of hazard analyses and risk assessments (HARA, HAZOP) as well as further safety analyses (FMEA, FTA and DFA) for systems in focus**

**Implementation and organization of training courses on functional safety**

**Establish a safety culture across all projects in the Automotive area**
