**Purpose of Role**
The Supply Finance Business Partner serves as a trusted partner in the organization and provides financial leadership for CHOCOLATE Manufacturing sites within Western Europe cluster (located in Viersen, Veghel, Haguenau and Steinbourg). The primary purpose of this role is to partner with manufacturing teams in the pursuit of operational excellence and cost. Responsibilities include defining and ensuring the delivery of the financial objectives as well as realizing and judging risks and opportunities. This position provides insights on operating results and clarifies key performance indicators for 3 year value creation roadmap. Developing eye level relationship with the Plant managers across the sites to bring challenge and perspective from benchmarking across the broader network. They will direct the hub Supply finance FP&A team to the appropriate deep dive analytics and leverage this to influence the direction and decision making across the sites. This role has responsibilities for multiple manufacturing sites which vary in complexity.

**Principal Accountabilities**
Provides business partner support and financial guidance for the manufacturing sites in the following capacity:
- Serve as the Finance Business Partner to the Plant Managers:
- providing financial challenge to influence sound financial and operational decisions
- support strategy definition and implementation
- developing and evaluating longer term strategies
- validate forecasts and investment plans
- Actively partner with the manufacturing teams to drive performance and meet financial shape commitments.
- Ongoing analysis of trends (periodic and vs previous year(s) of shape development and make recommendations to drive value creation and the simplicity agenda across a 3 year horizon.
- Identifying business issues and opportunities and making recommendations for future actions. Leveraging insights from across and beyond the network.
- Providing insights and thorough inputs to the operating plan, revised forecasts, and strategic planning cycles for manufacturing run (Scope includes productivity, manufacturing costs, NQC, and inventory)
- Drives manufacturing site efficiencies, continuous improvement and value add innovation
- Contributes to the culture of accountability and responsibility at manufacturing sites by tracking action plans for key initiatives, addressing root cause issues to drive sustainable operating improvements. Identify trade-offs and escalate operating plan variances as appropriate.

**Key Functional Skills/Knowledge**
- Technical understanding of cost and management accounting systems and processes, capital project evaluation, and analytical techniques.
- Ability to meet deadlines under time constraints.
- Working knowledge of Supply processes (Demand Planning, S&OP, Inventory flow and control, Production Scheduling, etc.)
- General business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand the functional interdependencies
- Ability to motivate others, communicate with all levels of organization and influence decisions throughout the organization.
- Financial Insights and Analysis - Well understanding of systems and processes, as well as digital tools to derive critical insights from this information, and the effective communication of financial information and insights to the business.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years relevant work experience, with manufacturing or supply chain business partnering experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
**Preferred Qualifications**
- MBA, CPA or CMA
