What You’ll Do:
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor for our Europe Region, currently consisting of around 250 employees based in Germany, UK, Poland, Spain, Italy and Romania. Reporting to our Head of HR Business Partnering, you will partner with business leaders in Europe to help drive employee engagement and enhance the employee experience throughout the organisation. You will be the voice of your region in providing timely input into our Centres of Expertise for the creation of People programs, policies, processes and tools.
This role operates at all altitudes - one minute you’ll be partnering with the Works Council, the next you’ll be coaching an employee. If you are someone who embraces change and likes to wear lots of hats, this role could be a perfect fit for you
Some domestic and international travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as change agent for cultural change, organizational design, HR process and operating model changes. Pro-actively deploy and reinforce messages, as well as collect feedback from the business to improve the way HR can be an enabler.
- Contribute to effective organisational design for your region through partnership with Functional managers and drawing in expertise from other Centres of Expertise as appropriate. Executing on all actions ensuring full consideration to legal, ethical and equity factors
- Responsible for the resourcing strategy within the region utilising the build, borrow and buy model engaging the Centre of Expertise for Talent to execute on the strategy for external hiring, ensure the appropriate authorisations are in place for hiring externally
- Coach and build the capability of the management team through timely feedback, coaching, communications, workshops and training sessions
- Responsible for the management of key processes across the employee lifecycle, drawing in the Centres of Expertise as appropriate, including resourcing, talent and performance management, succession planning compensation and employment termination (supported by People Operations where appropriate)
- Accountable for the management of all Employee Relations cases within the region ensuring legal compliance with an ethical and reasoned approach for the protection of the organisation and the fair treatment of employees.
- Proactively contribute to the provision and ongoing review of policies and procedures both globally and within the region with sound Employment law knowledge. Align with the CPO Operations team to ensure the timely and accurate production of employment contracts and communications
- Lead projects as appropriate and in partnership with relevant Centre of Expertise ensuring clear and effective integration within your region. Provide feedback to the Centres of Expertise through the design, creation and implementation phases to ensure the needs of all the regions are met
- Responsible for fostering a productive and effective relationship with the Works Council to ensure optimum support for business decisions
- Management of regional Human Resource related budget as appropriate to the region

You are proficient at translating business priorities into People strategies that can be practically implemented to help the business achieve its priorities.
