- We are looking to recruit a talented **Financial Accountant** to join our German business, operating out of our brand-new office in Munich. This role is pivotal to enabling Teltonika to grow our presence in Germany, through developing and implementing a new financial accounting, monitoring and reporting function.

**In this role you will**:

- handle daily accounting operations, including invoicing, management of trade receivables and payables, recording and posting financial transactions, bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, and processing entries in the accounting system while analyzing the company’s financial data.
- prepare tax declarations (optional)
- create monthly budgets and forecasts.
- execute the monthly closing process, prepare management reports, and report to HQ.
- manage payroll administration.
- ensure compliance with all accounting, reporting, legal, and tax requirements.
- conduct financial year-end closing and reporting, and prepare documentation for annual audits/tax authorities.
- establish the finance/accounting department in the local office in coordination with the CEO.
- develop and supervise the implementation of internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
- perform other tasks as assigned by the CEO or HQ.

**We believe that you have**:

- higher university or equivalent education in finance or accounting
- at least 3-4 years working experience in a similar role (accountant, senior accountant, finance controller, finance manager etc)
- knowledge of legal acts and standards of Germany (accounting, taxes, legal)
- knowledge of IFRS would be an advantage
- good skills in working with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel), SAP
- experience in working with different accounting programs
- fluent English and German both speaking and writing.
