**Who will you be joining?**

Allianz SE Protection & Resilience is responsible for the governance and implementation of respective Group standards for the Holding company. We implement the core professional, procedural and organizational requirements to anticipate and prepare for, and adapt to changes and sudden disruptions in order to protect our people, our business operations (IT and Non-IT), and physical assets.

We are looking for a senior security expert who is interested in advancing existing and developing new skills in particular in the area of protective security and emergency management, while being part of the team that is responsible for Protection and Resilience, including bussiness continuity and IT service continuity managment, outsourcing, and emergency and crisis management

**How can you make an impact?**
- Development and implementation of policies and strategies for protective security and emergency management,
- Research and stay up to date with security trends, as well as changing government and (inter)national laws
- Monitoring of the local and global security situation and provisions of security intelligence to various internal stakerholders
- Development and implementation of security concepts for executives and events as well as facilities
- Security incident response and management, including security incident investigations
- Activ maintenance and enhancement of internal and external security networks

**What are you made of?**
- Working knowledge of executive protection programs, event security, security technologies, security investigations methodology, and physical security management
- Experience in a corporate or government agency Protective Security Management role
- Experience in supporting and developing Executive Protection Programs
- Possess an understanding of operational and tactical aspects of Security and Threat Management
- Experience in close protection is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in security management or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 3+ years of experience in a Law Enforcement, Corporate Security, or similar role.
- Self-directed approach to learning and development in the security area; awareness of evolving security trends, topics and regulations, strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills, excellent communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe.
- Skilled at working independently and as part of a team.
- Exercises discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to travel internationally (also at short notice) up to 30%.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) in German and English - an additional European language is desirable
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
