Senior Director, International Procurement

**The role**:
As a Senior Director, you will lead the International Procurement & SCM Center of Excellence, you'll be responsible for building and leading a transformational Center of Excellence that underpins world-class procurement and supply chain at HelloFresh International (17+ multi-site markets globally). This includes leading and empowering a strong and focused team within the COE, enabling world-class core processes, systems and continuous improvement, supplier performance management, facilitating excellent stakeholder engagement and developing all necessary foundations that allows procurement and supply chain to bring value and continually evolve towards our “Fit-for-Future” transformation agenda.

You will work with a smart group of professionals in a dynamic global environment where you will use your in-depth expertise, strategic thinking, advisory, and ability to convert opportunities into outcomes, to drive the transformation of the procurement and supply chain function at HelloFresh. In this role you will report into the VP, Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead the teams: Process Excellence and Tech Deployment, Supplier Performance Management, Business Analytics, Procurement Tech
- Drive **strategic transformation** of HelloFresh Procurement & SCM organization into a “Fit-for-Future” operating model in close cooperation with local market leaders accounting for changing business models, industry patterns and customer needs
- Drive optimization and standardization of **procurement and supply chain processes and systems** for HelloFresh International on Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract and Inventory management.
- Enforce the creation and use of agreed templates and standards and educate the community on process excellence techniques while assisting on problem resolution.
- Drive **new technology deployment** by defining and prioritizing source-to-pay (S2P)/inventory management (IM)/contract lifecycle management (CLM)
- Design and implement **supplier performance management and claim management**:a KPI based model that accurately defines, measures and improves risk and performance of our most important suppliers using standard templates such as Supplier QBRs and Supplier Scorecard
- Establish and administer Supplier Awards Program
- **Collaborate **with other business functions like Product Development, HelloTech, Quality, Operations, and Finance in terms of requirements, handshakes, and limitations
- Develop strong talent across global markets

**What you’ll bring**:

- An exceptional academic record with degree from top tier college or University (Engineering or Business degrees with a focus on procurement and supply chain management preferred)
- 10+ years professional / leadership experience within procurement, supply chain management and/or continuous improvement in operations or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer driven industries
- Progressive strategic leadership mindset combined with experience in leading in a matrix organization
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building support for unprecedented initiatives, this role works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business and leads the assessment of various options
- Passion for finding the next big idea and selling the concept internally
- Strong experience in development and implementation of strategies and processes in order to sustainably optimize a material value chain. Ideally familiar with material and inventory planning systems
- Best in-class procurement and supply chain experience, including COE (or COE-like) experience, focused on best-practice governance (policies, procedures, tools, templates, data, performance, KPIs), procurement process redesign, process adherence and improvement
- Superior data analysis skills, problem solving techniques, structuring of complex projects. Skilled at understanding data patterns to construct root-cause analysis, alternative scenarios and insights
- Strong demonstrated success in building and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with peers, colleagues and diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in the food industry is considered a plus
- Readiness to frequently travel abroad to our sites (up to 40%)
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Fluent business English knowledge, German and other languages are considered a plus
