**Your daily tasks**:

- Operational management of the Groups & Events department
- Preparation of budget for event sales
- Ensuring ideal sales of all meeting and event rooms and spaces from inquiry qualification to offer negotiation to contract closing
- Responsibility for the smooth planning, organization and execution of all groups & events
- Working closely with and coordinating group rates with the Director of Revenue to ensure optimal occupancy and maximize profits
- Responsible for the continuous development/improvement & active implementation of an effective sales strategy
- Responsibility for achieving revenue targets
- Reporting as well as the appropriate preparation and control of data
- Independent preparation of the catering budget & forecasts
- Communication and coordination with the national and international sales teams within Marriott International
- Exchange of information with all departments & internal communication of all event-relevant details in the hotels
- Motivation & further development of the entire team

**What we are looking for**:

- Several years of experience in a leading role in Convention Sales
