Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Verify established processes meet quality standards by surveilling them, identifying possible process noncompliance’s or opportunities for improvements.
- Assists with process development by providing feedback on design and building features relational to requirements.
- Recommend changes in methods to improve process.
- Provides assistance to functional areas as they achieve and sustain ISO 9001 standards.
- Is a quality “champion” by promoting, teaching, and presenting quality as a means for product improvement and efficiency.
- Assist with the development and implementation of standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation in conjunction with our customer’s
- Interfaces with contractors Management team to resolve quality-related
- Assists with verifying the contractual and corporate compliance of work performed as it relates to
- Other duties that may be assigned to meet company goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:
**Qualification and Experience Requirements**

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Associates degree in a related field is highly desirable but not
- Must possess the ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all
- Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and around tight
- ** Specialized knowledge and skills**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and other software programs to assist with special projects.
- Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) is desirable
- Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA) is desirable
- ISO 9001 Auditor Training Course Certificate is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous contracting experience a plus.
