Senior Accountant

**YOUR MISSION**:
We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior Accountant (M/F/d) **in our office in Schönaich to join our team and contribute to our company's financial success. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise in SAP to address open topics, establish robust cost accounting processes, ensure accurate invoice bookings, conduct asset inventory checks, and perform various accounting tasks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Utilize your advanced knowledge of SAP to address open topics and optimize the system for efficient financial operations
- Develop and implement comprehensive cost accounting processes to provide accurate cost information for decision-making
- Ensure accurate and timely booking of invoices, reviewing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct regular assets inventory checks, verifying physical assets and reconciling them with financial records
- Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong expertise in SAP, with a focus on cost centres, production cost calculation, consolidating the subsidiaries (tasks will be given on the interview)
- Excellent Excel knowledge, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis (tasks will be given on the interview)
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
- Experience in accurately booking invoices and maintaining financial records
- Familiarity with assets inventory checks and reconciliation processes
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff
