**The Role**:
We're seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding team. This isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to co-create a startup that's making a real difference.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prototype & MVP Development: Lead the creation of the COBY prototype and first MVP, integrating state-of-the-art AI technologies.
- Technical Leadership: Oversee all technological projects, ensuring alignment with our mission and strategic goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Co-Founders (CEO & CFO) and external software and hardware teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Pitch & Presentations: Partner with the CEO and CFO to pitch at contests and investor meetings, showcasing our technology and vision.
- Staff Onboarding: Recruit, onboard, and mentor tech staff, building a strong and dedicated technical team.
- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement the technology roadmap, staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.

**About You**:
You're not just a tech expert—you’re passionate about leveraging technology to make a meaningful impact for children and families struggling with life-altering conditions. Building something from the ground up excites you, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Game Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics, or a comparable technical field, obtained within the last 5 years.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with a proven track record in software, technology, or AI projects with real delivery.
- Technical Skills: o Proficient in C++, Python, or other modern development languages. o Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) through APIs, and fine-tuning/training local LLM models. o Skilled in optimizing setting up servers and software development environments.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience leading teams and organizing projects to successful completion.
- Analytical & Creative Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to approach complex challenges creatively and structurally.
- Adaptability: Eager to learn and quickly adapt, especially in utilizing the latest AI tools to enhance development.

**Bonus Points**:

- Industry Experience: Background in the child-toy industry, gaming industry, or healthcare sector.
- Psychology Knowledge: Experience or interest in psychology, particularly child psychology.
- Physical Product Development: Skills or hobbies in 3D printing, electronics, material design, or IoT integration.

**Requirements**:

- Availability: Able to start as soon as possible, committing 10-20 hours per week initially, with the potential to transition to full-time from March.
- Location: Must be based in Munich, Germany.
- Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
