**️ About the role**:
This is not your typical job, where you are hired to do a specific set of tasks given to you. Everyone at Twaiv is hired to think. Think about how to build a great product. And think about what we (and you) can do move one step closer to our mission.
We don’t believe it’s smart to hire people for a fixed set of responsibilities and “hard skills”. Instead, we believe that **one thing has to come first, which is the intense motivation and drive to help contribute to our mission**. After this, we believe everyone has multiple things to offer that could be valuable at many different places. We just need to find a way to funnel your motivation into something useful.
Here’s some examples what we mean by that:
You know how it feels to be left out in a group of people? Cool, this could be a great spark to inspire a blog article. You’ve once experienced a failure while being on an important journey? Congrats, you just understood one of our customer’s core pains and probably can come up with ideas for product features that’ll turn this into a smile.
**This role’s mission isn’t simply to “sell” a product. It’s to understand, live and breathe our beliefs and help us manifest those in a consumer facing product and brand. Whatever that means (to you)**
**You’ll probably find yourself looking for answers to questions like**:
- What can we (mostly you) do to grow our subscription based revenue 10x within the next 12 months?
- Who are the users that love our product today and how could they find us?
- Who aren’t our users today and what would need to happen to convince them?
- Are there better ways to get in touch with more potential customers that we don’t see today?
**On month 1 you will...**
- Onboard onto our team, read our wiki, walk and call around and get as many talks with your colleagues as you can get.
- Get familiar with (and contribute to) most of our very well documented principles & processes
- Deep dive into our current roadmap, goals and things that need to get done
- Read through and jump onto ongoing projects to see if and where you can help
- Start thinking about how to successfully implement, measure, validate and adjust marketing and branding campaigns across all (successful) channels in order to position twaiv as the no 1 running app in DACH and beyond.
**After 3 months you will be...**
- Taking care of most performance marketing channels
- Guiding and maybe executing our social media communications
- Leading our “communication” with the goal to make people hear about our mission
- Preparing synchronized marketing and product iterations.
**After 6 months you will...**
- Carry the main responsibility for product and marketing campaign launches synchronization.
- Be driving marketing campaigns from conception to production and launch.
- Be mentoring and newer team members to help them get going.

- You are pragmatic, like to get your hands dirty and yet, seeing the bigger picture; you're able to reason about prioritization and scope.
- You love delighting, high quality products, no quick scams. It makes you happy when your product looks neat and fulfills a real need of your customers.
- You are willing to take responsibilities and you have an ambitious drive to move things forward within a interdisciplinary team
- You bias to action. You like to get things done. You like learning as quickly as possible, so you embrace failing fast to refine your strategy, systems, and processes rapidly.
- You are a real marketing multi talent You have a highly creative perspective on brand building and communication but you also love to execute „hands-on“ on the things you would want to see become real.
- You are used to and love the idea of working with restricted resources. You don’t shy away from taking risks and are experienced in handling big budgets but you like to make smart and effective decisions that make you feel connected to an immediate and relevant output.
**And in an ideal world you’d be**:
- experienced in consumer product marketing, preferably digital consumer apps
- an expert, dealing with performance marketing, ASO, SEA and web analytics
- a good copy-writer and / or writer in general
- into photography with high interest to produce photos / videos yourself
- someone with a good sense for design and aesthetics, yet you are able to produce nice-looking-things in a way that it resonates with many people
- You are a passionate runner or you can highly identify with someone that is striving to get fitter but is struggling out of different reasons
