**Your responsibilities**:
Characterization of protein quality including purity, yield, stability, and activity.
Improvement of current processes and implementation of new technologies.
Communication with vendors and CROs.
Analysis, documentation, and presentation of results to larger multidisciplinary project teams.
Preparation of SOP´s, scientific reports, patent examples and literature research.
**Requirements**:
**Your profile**:
Very good master’s degree (Associate Scientist position) or doctoral degree (Scientist position) in biochemistry, biotechnology, or closely related discipline.
Strong hands-on experience in various protein purification and analytical techniques and instrumentation (Äkta/HPLC systems). Deep knowledge of chromatography and DSP development are highly beneficial.
Proficiency in protein characterization by SDS-PAGE, Western blot, SEC, RP-HPLC
Experience in protein expression in bacterial organisms and mammalian cell lines (e.g., HEK293, CHO).
Good skills in modern molecular biology and protein engineering are of advantage.
Structured working style with great attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, good working knowledge of German.
Strong team-player with a distinct interest in interdisciplinary research and to reach common goals.
