To strengthen the technology team of our HQ, for the development, engineering and supply of steel production plants, we are looking for a **Process Technologist - Senior (Germany)**. We are looking for people with technical training, attentive to innovation, motivated and interested in developing their skills and potential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define the hot rolling process of steel strips and sheets in relation to the methods and equipment to be used
- Develop complex simulations of the hot rolling process
- Develop calculations and documentation to be used to prepare the configuration of the rolling plant
- Define the expected performance of the plant
- Support the technical-commercial activities with the preparation of contractual technical documentation and their discussion during meetings with the customer
- Prepare order documentation to support the mechanical, electrical and automation design activities
- Support the commissioning activity remotely and on site until the performance and plant acceptance are achieved
- Collect and classify the process parameters of the running plants and tune the mathematical models of off-line calculation
- Team work and continuous comparison on problems and critical issues and coordinate the team of process specialists assigned to him
- Benchmark the available alternative technology and identify possible improvements and developments of the Danieli solutions by proposing patents to protect the proprietary technology

**Technical Requirements**:
Degree in engineering/technical field (e.g. chemistry, metallurgy, materials, mechanics)
- At least 5 years of experience in the steel sector
- At least 3 years of experience in steel processing studies, process simulation and project development
- Knowledge of the main mechanical processes
