SPORTFIVE is a leading global sports marketing organisation. Our work includes sponsorship sales, advertising, media rights and production, partnership strategy and athlete marketing, hospitality and event delivery. Our clients include some of the highest profile sports teams and events in world sport, including LA Lakers, Chelsea FC, Ferrari, British Olympic Association, the Commonwealth Games Federation, and the Football Association.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements relating to sponsorship, advertising, media rights and production, partnership strategy and athlete marketing, hospitality and event delivery.
- Identifying and advising SPORTFIVE’s UK management and commercial teams on legal and strategic risks.
- Working pro-actively with commercial teams to ensure that appropriate processes are followed and to provide clear, pragmatic advice and guidance on business opportunities.
- Assisting with other legal matters as required, including corporate and compliance matters.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- UK qualified solicitor with strong academic credentials and approximately 5 years’ post qualification experience
- Relevant industry sector experience, such as experience of working for or advising a sports or media organisation
- A good understanding of the commercial business of sport
- Personal integrity and dedication
- Confidence to lead negotiations with third parties
- The ability to balance technical legal advice with a commercial approach which focuses on key risks and opportunities
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients of all levels both internally and externally and to build strong working relationships
