We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25 Million of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the licensing of ‘virtual’ food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen - we think there’s about 70,000 of them in the UK. We've grown massively in a short period of time and have operations in Europe (UK, FR, SE, FI, HU, CZ, DE), the USA (FL, GA), and the GCC (UAE). We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery Apps whilst continuing to service their core customers. In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market Nobody’s growing as fast as us in the UK, and we’re looking for great people to join us on our journey.

To continue with our growth story, we are currently looking for a Food Development Lead based in Europe.

The food development lead role exists to manage new and existing product development in PWB’s central concept team. In the context of this role, product refers to the food brands, menus and recipes that PWB licences to its restaurant partners.

We are looking for someone who either has experience in developing and creating food brands or has previous experience as culinary chef or QSR. For this role, you should have attention to detail, the ability to implement and simplify processes and show flexibility and adaptability.

**Tasks**:

- Lead market research and develop insights into cuisine trends to ensure product portfolio evolves in line with market tastes and trends.
- Evaluate all available market insights as a key input into a master product roadmap for new and existing product development.
- Collaborate with local RGMs, marketing and concept team colleagues to progress Peckwater brand development across the markets. This includes the continual review of branding collateral (e.g. imagery, copy & logos) associated with PWB products to deliver an optimal product experience for restaurant partners and eaters.
- Be accountable for new and existing food product development at PWB.
- Deliver a high level of performance via improvements in KPIs (listed below).Own the design of all our menus as well as version management.
- Own the construction of all recipes with the aim of optimising for quality and simplicity of preparation by our restaurant partners.
- Ensure all food development processes are compliant with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Opex team in the development of training assets that clearly reflect each of the steps required to prepare PWB recipes.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to source appropriate ingredients and combine ingredients to create special manufactured (CPU) products that cannot be obtained ‘off the shelf’.Collaborate with suppliers to refine manufactured products with the aim of optimising for quality and simplicity of preparation.
- Role model PWB’s leadership principles with relevant stakeholders including employees, suppliers and customers.
