**Job Description Summary**: Developing and installing IT based interfaces between customers enterprise EMR or HIS systems and products of the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) product portfolio. The preferred communication format will be based on Health Layer 7 (HL7) or DICOM standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform Enterprise integration work to IT-based products of the Patient Care Solutions product portfolio
- Develop HL7 interfaces using integration engine software like Cloverleaf/Mirth, by connecting remotely to customer sites
- Troubleshoot and fix interface related product support requests
- Train the regional support engineers in first level interface support and system interoperability
- Analyze customer provided workflow and HL7 requirements and adopt product capabilities
- Support Pre-sales activities around workflow and interfacing compatibility requests and run kick-off calls in order to define project scope
- Ownership of integration related project tasks and related milestones
- Provide clear visibility about status/timelines to all project stakeholders during integration phase
- Work self-sufficiently, take over ownership and prioritize accordingly in order to meet planned project deadlines
- Provide Level 3 support / correction (remotely or occasionally onsite) to solve system interface problems
- Take ownership for any CSO’s relating to the interface of Patient Care Solutions products
- Help to develop interfaces to other subsystems or modalities of GE HealthCare
- Use expertise to assist in creating interoperability specifications
- Participate as member of quality assurance groups when approving programs, including NPI introduction
- Maintain effective Quality System compliant with ISO 9001/EN 46001
- Work within GE Six Sigma quality processes and standards
- Documenting work progress using Microsoft Office365 tools
- Assist with designing, developing & packaging system integration services for revenue opportunities

**Qualifications/ Requirements**:

- Knowledge of TCL-scripting and experience with integration engines like Quovadx or Mirth
- Degree - level education in Information Technologies /software discipline or comparable work experience
- Experience in Microsoft’s client/server domain environments
- Basic experience of project management
- Understanding of healthcare system structure & ethos
- Working knowledge Hospital Management systems like EMR or HIS
- Fluent English language in speaking and writing
- Experience with formats HL7, XML and DICOM
