**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors.
- Work involves maintenance and routine repair work on engines, engine accessories, power transmission systems on automobiles, tucks, construction equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.
- Two (2) years of maintenance experience.
- Vocational, technical, military formal certificates of training in a related maintenance field may be substituted for equivalent years of experience.
- Knowledge and proficiency with general automotive tools, shop equipment and diagnostic test equipment.
- Must be able to meet all government CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) requirements for foreign travel into operational locations.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- Possession of a valid European or German driver's license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license before beginning employment.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
- Mechanical experience includes one or more of the following: tactical and commercial wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, power generators sets or construction equipment.
**Clearance Requirements**:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
