**ABOUT THE TEAM**

The **Enterprise Architect - Sales (f/m/d) for our Global Customer in the chemical industry **is leading the digital transformation from SAP side in joint agreement with the Customer Enterprise Architecture and Process Governance organizations. This includes the engagement definition and execution of the customer master plan for the coming 3 to 5 years. Examples are the ongoing optimization of business foundation, the proactive extension of the architecture to support future possibilities and the creation of new businesses enabled by digital technologies.

The Enterprise Architect
- Sales (f/m/d) is accountable to ensure that the activities are delivered in accordance with the Customer Global Account strategy. Defines the SAP competitive advantage and establishes the key reasons for the Customer and affiliates to leverage SAP solutions, platform technologies, engaging in business networks, drive benefits from new deployment models and other innovations to achieve strategic business objectives. - Sales (f/m/d) will be a member of our Global Account Team.

**YOUR FUTURE ROLE**:

- The Enterprise Architect
- Sales (f/m/d) provides advice and decision support regarding methodologies and approaches, e. g. brown field/green field/hybrid or disruptive models to achieve targeted business outcomes. Leadership and moderation of SAP´s representation in the customer governance bodies.
- He/she contributes to the development and refinement of SAP's vision and strategy, SAP ambassadorship and advisory built on a trusted foundation. Supports the Customer Global Account team results. Articulates the SAP competitive advantage. Ensures an effective transition to the Services and BTS organizations as needed.
- He/she drives platform technology/solution credibility to influence the opinion of SAP's solutions offerings (with focus on the Customer context); devise solutions strategies in targeted sales cycles. Act as trusted senior advisor for our Customer, both internally and externally; role model SAP's values.
- He/she liaises with executive heads on the implementation of strategic and operational plans. Contributes to the development, review, and reporting on business development strategies ensuring strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Senior level experience (10+ years) significant international experience driving complex transformations
- Experience in the chemicals or related industries
- Versed in Enterprise Architecture and ERP
- Proficiency with existing and emerging business support architecture patterns such as service-oriented architecture (SOA), pace-layered architectures (two phased IT) or micro services architecture (distributed software systems)
- Significant experience in a variety of disciplines and a strong record of achievement in strategy development, execution, and business development
- Capable of leading and influencing at the senior executive level and working well with customer or partner executives globally
- Very good overview about new solutions and the roadmap of SAP solutions/infrastructures - a strong network into SAP is key
- Fluency both in German and English MANDATORY
