Team Lead Prototyping

As the **Team Lead Prototyping**, you will lead a team responsible for the prototyping and validation of UAV systems and subsystems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of our cutting-edge aerial platforms. Your team will be at the forefront of testing new hardware, prototypes and contributing to continuous product improvements.

**What is your Day to Day Mission**:

- Lead and mentor a team of four system test engineers and two prototyping specialists.
- Develop and execute test plans for UAV hardware and software, including performance, durability, and safety tests.
- Design and supervise the prototyping of UAV systems and subsystems.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design and system enhancements.
- Manage test environments, including field testing and lab testing setups.
- Provide technical reports and documentation on test results and system improvements.

**What you bring to the team**:

- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in system testing, prototyping, or a related field, preferably in UAVs, robotics, or aerospace.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Strong understanding of prototyping, system validation and debugging methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of UAV flight dynamics, mechanics, aerodynamics and embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with sensors, avionics and communication systems.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FAA, EASA, or military standards is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a must.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
